We are a regular board gaming night that meets in Brixton. We hope to offer a place where you can come learn, play and even teach games, some that you know, and some that are new to you. The meetup is in Otter Chaos, a board game cafe in Brixton with 500+ games. Otter Chaos has food and drink (great pizza). There is a £5 cover charge for the evening too. Let’s help support local business! Especially a south London based board game cafe! Feel free to bring your own board games too but generally it’ll already be there! The games we bring change from week-to-week, covering a wide range of different games, from party games (Werewolf, Secret Hitler, Bang!...) to co-op games (Pandemic, Dead of Winter, Mysterium...) to competitive games where you are trying to beat out your opponents in an all-out quest to victory (Ticket to Ride, Concordia, Great Western Trail). We're a really friendly group - everyone is welcome especially if you've never played these kinds of games before. There is always someone on hand to explain the rules to a new game.

A place to meet for playing light to medium modern Board Games. All skill levels welcome but we will always have games suitable for anyone new to gaming and we will always have people willing to teach them. Our aim is to have at least one session a week, around Wimbledon if possible, but other venues may include Clapham, Putney, Kingston etc. If you have, or know, somewhere suitable to host these please let us know. We are also planning Retro gaming nights, where even Monopoly is allowed! Also announcing Social Board Games free MARKETPLACE If you have board games you would like to sell or trade, advertise them here for collection at the game nights or just bring them along!
At Story Games LA we gather to play story games and indie role-playing games (RPGs). These games are similar to RPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) but tend to be simpler to learn, and have more shared narrative control for all players. WHO IS THIS FOR? Any experience level is welcome, with no prior knowledge required. Almost all games are meant to be played in a single night (sometimes called one-shots or episodic), so no regular attendance is necessary. Occasionally we create events for multi-session games, but these will be advertised as such (and even in multi-session games drop-ins may be allowed). WHAT GAMES DO WE PLAY? We play games that allow us to come together to have a good time telling a story collaboratively. We do not generally play games with a win condition. Some games we play have a game master (GM) and players, similar to D&D. Other games are “GM-less” or "GM-ful", and have no game master, where the rules of the game have us share narrative authority so we all have similar control over the story. Some examples include: Apocalypse World Blades in the Dark Dream Askew Fiasco For The Queen The Quiet Year * Microscope WHAT GAMES DO WE AVOID? We avoid role-playing games that may require players to have prior knowledge of rules (which is often the case with RPGs such as D&D). Many of us love board and card games, however this is not the event for those games. Note that some story games have elements that may look like board and card games, however we play games that share our goal of coming together to collaboratively tell a story. Although some board games have narrative elements (such as Above and Below), or can be played in a narrative manner (such as Arkham Horror), these do not meet our criteria. If you have any doubts, please talk to one of the organizers. It is also important that games played conform to our Community Standards (
Looking to meet new people and enjoy a fun night out? Join us at our cozy wine bar in Surry Hills for an evening of board games, wine, and great company! Owned by passionate board gamers, we’ve created the perfect space for both casual players and seasoned strategists. We have three large tables perfect for groups of four, plus an extra-large communal table, ideal for meeting new friends over a shared love of games. Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, this is the perfect place to connect with fellow board game enthusiasts. Our game selection offers something for everyone: quick and fun games like Sushi Go, Codenames, and Love Letter, strategy classics like Catan, Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, and Go, and team-based action with Captain Sonar. For those who enjoy deeper thinking, we have analytical, problem-solving games like Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, along with classic card games and family favourites like Scrabble. For dedicated gamers, we can even bring out rare gems like Sidereal Confluence and The Gallerist with enough notice. And of course, feel free to bring your own favourites too! HOUSERULES: When you enter our space, be polite and say hello! Please be respectful of our games and put them back where you found them so that others can enjoy them, too! With the bar open until midnight, there’s plenty of time to relax, enjoy some wine, and dive into friendly competition or cooperative problem-solving. To keep these events free, we would appreciate it if you could buy a drink or snack! There's plenty to choose from on our menu! Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the hobby, this is a welcoming space to have fun, meet new people, and enjoy a great evening of games in Surry Hills. Come by and play with us!

The Cozy Circle — Deep Chats & Game Evenings Welcome to The Cozy Circle, a freshly launched social group in Paris for people who love meaningful connection, playful game nights, and cozy vibes — without the bar scene. Inspired by the warmth of Friends at Central Perk, we gather in a relaxed home setting near Châtelet for evenings filled with board games, vinyl music, light snacks, and deep conversations. Whether you're new in town or just looking to meet kind-hearted people, this is a space to feel at home. I’m Ihor («Ігор») — Ukrainian for Igor, but with a twist (and a softer heart 😄). We meet 1–4 times per month, usually Tuesday to Thursday evenings, with small groups of 6–8 people to keep things cozy. Je m’appelle Ihor («Ігор») — c’est Igor en ukrainien, mais avec une touche personnelle (et un cœur plus doux 😄). www.victorypints.com We're just a charming ragtag group of misfits who want to throw some dice and drink. We find some bars, bring some games, and invite interested parties to come join us. Interested? All you have to do is promise to patronize any bar that's cool enough to host us, There's usually a two drink minimum, but since you keep reading after the "beer and board games" part above we'll assume you're cool with that. What types of board games? All types. Real short bluffing games decorated with skulls and flowers. Cooperative games fighting horrible diseases. Classic euro games where you haggle over sheep and wheat. Whether you want to fight unspeakable horrors in Arkham or build railroads across America or rebuild your farm after the black plague (more fun than it sounds) you can probably find a game you would like. Some games you might see are 7 Wonders, Settlers of Catan, Pandemic, Dominion, Dixit, Puerto Rico, Eldritch Horror, Ticket to Ride, Carcasonne among many others. You're also welcome to bring any game you want to play! We're very friendly and if you have no idea what the hell we're talking about just trust us when we say it's ton of fun. We'll have tons of games and we're very happy to show you the rules. Hang out, haves some drinks, and learn a new game! (or monetary equivalent in non-alcoholic purchases if you don't touch the stuff.) Questions? Comments? Contact us at info@victorypints.com
