+ Submit listingWelcome to London Board Games The purpose of this group could not be easier... To help bring people together to play board games across London. The main difference between this Meetup and some others is that you are very much encouraged to come with your own suggestions for venues, dates and times for game sessions. This Meetup will then allow you to host and organise it. If you'd like to host an event, simply write that in the discussion and you will be made an event organiser. There are no rules on which games you can or cannot play. This is simply up to the group to decide, perhaps in advance by making the event a game-specific event, or by mutual agreement. If you are available during the weekday daytimes then also please join this group.

We believe the best way to make friends is to show up regularly to events you genuinely enjoy. That’s why we focus on running a small number of high‑quality, well‑hosted events where you can actually connect with people. What we do \- We run board game nights and game shows\, with more ideas in the pipeline\. We only launch new events if they’re genuinely worth your time\. \- We keep events small\. No being squished into a room with hundreds of strangers—just a friendly\, manageable group where you can relax and be yourself\. \- We get to know our members\. One of the biggest issues with Meetup is meeting someone great and never seeing them again\. We build a community where familiar faces return\. Check out our Instagram for highlights from previous events. Group Instagram: About me I moved to London 10 years ago without knowing anyone. After attending hundreds of Meetup events, I decided to build the kind of community I always wished existed. As a remote worker, it’s not easy to make friends through colleagues, so creating this group helped me build a social circle. I’ve seen many others do the same. Thanks for taking an interest in London Games and Socials. If you have any questions, feel free to message me on Instagram. My Instagram:

Welcome to London on Board! We are a group of friendly and diverse modern board gaming enthusiasts that meet up several times a week in Central London. We enjoy a wide variety of board games that include euros, deck builders, dungeon crawlers, area control, cooperatives, 18xx, legacy and even dexterity and social games on occasion. There are a wide range of complexities and game lengths and it is common for us to play 2-3 hour games or even longer especially on weekends with shorter games in between. There are some games that we don’t allow - please see our rules page( for details. Our events are very much dependent on attendees bringing the games that they’d like to play and/or are happy to share with the group. It’s certainly not mandatory for you to bring games nor to allow others to use those that you do bring as we understand that it’s not always practical, but it would be wonderful if you can bring and teach games whenever possible. London is a beautiful city with many pubs and hotels with private spaces that are available for hire typically with minimum spends or a deposit. As we are passionate about keeping our club free to attend, we make mutually beneficial agreements with the venues. This provides us with a dedicated space and in return, we make it worth their while by being respectful and spending on food & drink. Without this symbiotic relationship, London on Board would not be possible so we would very much like to encourage attendees to remember to visit the bar regularly throughout the event. Under no circumstances should food or drink from outside be brought into the venue. London on Board is not-for-profit and organised by a small group of volunteers. When we have spare time, you will often find us looking for new venues, wrangling with the quirks of meetup.com and making improvements to the website! Links Rules:

Hi and Welcome, The Guild is a club for everyone interested in Roleplaying Games. A Roleplaying game has no winners, the main purpose of the game is to have fun playing it. That makes Roleplaying games fundamentally different from board games, card games, sports and most other types of games. The Guild is for Tabletop RPG's, not for any other kind of Roleplaying, including Larp. New members are always welcome and there is always a game for new or inexperienced players. We play in English, but Dutch is also possible. If you do not know what a roleplaying game is, Nieuwe leden zjin altijd welkom, en er is altijd wel een spel geschikt voor onervaren spelers. We spelen meestal in het Engels, maar het is ook mogelijk in het Nederlands te spelen. Als je niet weet wat een rollenspel is, kijk dan hier: Click the on the Guild's "About Us Page" or the link below, to find out more.

The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the world of Dungeons & Dragons through any of the novels written by its fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D. Game masters, players, all are welcome! iI you wish to be an event organizer, please reach out to discuss how you can get involved.
There are so few places where we as gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders can meet each other in person outside of bars. We've found that it's much easier to meet friends and partners in an environment that is fun doing an activity that isn't focused on meeting new people. You can just sit down with us and play an old favorite game or learn a new one. We tend toward strategy games, but word games and party games are welcome.
Welcome to the New York Tabletop Role Playing and Board Games Meetup Group! Whether you're a fan of fantastical adventures in dungeons or strategic Euro games, or you prefer to test your luck in a game of No Limit Texas Hold 'em, this group is perfect for you. Come join us for regular game nights, where we gather to roll dice, move pieces, and shuffle cards in a friendly and welcoming environment. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the world of tabletop gaming, all are welcome to join in on the fun and make new friends along the way. Let's roll the dice and deal the cards!
### About our Group Do you love tabletop games but find it hard to commit to playing board games that take hours? Are you looking for a low-pressure way to meet new people and try something new? We are a social gaming group designed for those who love variety. We gather at the Greenwich Pennisula to play "sprint" games—high-energy, social, and strategic games that don't last longer than 30 minutes. ### What to expect: 1. Arrival: We meet at The Dial at the Greenwich Pennisula. 2. Play games: Once you arrive, there will be a small selection of games and socialise! ### FAQ: Do I need to be a serious gamer? Not at all! We choose games that are easy to learn. Most can be explained in under 5 minutes. Is there a fee? No Fee! Can I bring my own games? If they are fast games that last under 30 Minutes and are open to help explain, please bring them along!
This is replacing the old Evanston Social Board Gaming Group. We will be playing social and euro games, usually more toward the euro/strategy (think Settlers of Catan). Bring games you want to play or use other people's games. Everyone in the group is more than happy to teach. All skill/experience levels welcome.
Hellooo there and buenos dias futuras amigas! This meet-up group is for people in their 20s and 30s living in Uptown/Buena Park/Lincoln Park who are looking to make new friends with other young professionals and play board games at two of North Chicago's best (i.e my personal fave 😂) coffee spots. This group will have a 5 month "season" starting on January 11th and running through May 10th. Each meet-up will be from 9am-10am on Saturday. We will meet each week but are going to rotate between two cafes. To keep things light-hearted, we'll be starting this meet-up with board games like Sushi Go, Abducktables and Bananagrams. These can be played in quick batches and are designed for a group. You're always welcome to bring your own too! :) About me: Hello you! My name is Aurora (she/her/hers), I am a 26yo NYC transplant who moved to Chicago three years ago. I love meeting new people and creating space for people to have fun with each other, hence this meet-up. In my spare time I enjoy exploring Chicago, sewing, and fostering cats.
Looking to get together with fellow casual board game fans in the Northwest side of the city and share in some board game fun from time to time. I have a pretty wide range of game types that I enjoy and I really like teaching/walking others on how to play games that I own as well as learning new ones. All skill levels/experience with board games are welcome. I can envision rotating locations within these 8-ish neighborhoods: Edison Park, Norwood Park, Dunning Square, Montclare, Belmont Cragin, Portage Park, Jefferson Park, Forest Glen and have some locations (that offer light food/drink) already in mind. I’d envision that this group would all share in bringing games, but at a minimum, I’d commit to bringing some crowd-favorites from my modest, but growing, library: Looking forward to sharing in some board game fun with others!
Hi! This meetup is for NYC residents and visitors ages 21-40s who enjoy playing board games over drinks after work and meeting fun new friends. We meet every two weeks on Tuesday Nights 6PM-10PM upstairs at the Downtown Galway Hooker (It's NOT THAT KIND OF BAR! A Galway Hooker is a BOAT silly!) (133 7th Ave South between Charles St. & 10th Street, West Village, NY). This great Irish pub has amazing bar food and has extended their happy hour for our group to 10PM. ($7 All Drafts, Well drinks, and House Wine..SWEET DEAL!) We encourage you to come as close to 6pm as you can, but showing up anytime between 6 and 8 is absolutely fine! - We will bring a few games but if you have a game you want to bring, please do! We usually start off with a big party game as an icebreaker at 6PM. Then, we have other smaller games, old classics & quick European strategy games. And we tend to end the night with another big social deduction. We encourage singles to come but committed relationship types are also welcome to join! Feel free to bring friends. Please have $2 cash per person when you arrive - this helps cover the cost of the meetup.com fees and to buy new board games each month. Board Games List( See you there! Brian and Tom M

Welcome to the Boardgame Icebreakers! We are a group of friendly and inclusive New Yorkers who want to meet new people and play games. We think there is no better way to make new friends then sitting around a table and throwing around some cards, dice, or meeples. We primarily play openers like Codenames, Cards Against Humanity, and Exploding Kittens, but we aren't above a classic like Sorry or Clue or masterpieces like Ticket to Ride and Pandemic. If you've never played board games like some of the ones mentioned above, this is the group for you! All levels of game geek welcome.
This group meets in Manhattan on weekends to play board games and card games. The emphasis is on party, word and traditional board games more than Euro and strategy games and we are happy to teach games to newcomers. Games played include Apples to Apples, Scattergories, Uno, and many others. A list of games played is in the Discussions section. Different games are played at each meetup. Both singles and couples are welcome. Adults of all ages are welcome. Meetups are free and we often meet in pubs and restaurants.
We play Settlers of Catan and all its exapnsions. Seasoned players as well as those new to the game are welcome. Besides the basic game, our group owns and plays many of the expansion sets. Anybody who enjoys board games should come and join our group. We play a mix of traditional (3-4 player) or expansion (5-6 player) Settlers as well as Knights & Cities and/or Seafarers. Recently, we have been trying the new Traders and Barbarians expansion games like Fishermen and Barbarian Attack. Newbies are always welcome and we are happy to teach you the game.
This is a group for those who like games based on trivia. Games to be played include Trivial Pursuit (natch), Blast From The Past, Chronology, Facts in Five, Finish Lines, The Logo Game, Newshound, Smart Ass, 20 Questions, Who Am I?, Wits and Wagers and more. Different games will be played at each meetup, and there's over 30 games. Meetups will take place in Manhattan on weekends, at least twice a month, more often if the group catches on. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ - while these games are mostly easy to learn and fun to play, they ask questions or provide clues to specific answers. Therefore, having general knowledge in various subjects is required to play and enjoy these games. For some games, you'll be on a team or partnered with someone, so it won't always be up to you to come up with an answer. But again, given the format of these games, a general knowledge in various subjects is required. Subjects covered include Geography, History, Literature, Science, Sports and the various areas of Pop Culture (Movies, Music, Theater and TV). If you're looking for games like Monopoly or Taboo, this is NOT the meetup group for you. A list of the games to be played is shown in the Discussions section of these boards. If you've read the above and feel you qualify, sign up and join. If you know others who are trivia geeks, let them know about this group. So put on your thinking caps, and get your game on!!
Nyeek is a social get together for board game enthusiasts in the New York City area. If that sounds kind of geeky let me assure you that it absolutely is. We play all types of board games (abstract, party, thematic), but we tend to lean towards Euro Games. Games that usually have simple rules, relatively short playing times, and no player elimination, so they’re pretty accessible to newcomers. If you want to know more feel free to check out the (still being written) FAQ , but in a nutshell we're just a fun loving board game group. Come out and play some games some time!

Drop in solo or bring friends: there’s usually a table you can join, a host to help you get started, and a welcoming vibe. A social group for anyone in the London area interested in board games, video games, films, comic books and general geek culture. We are now back to meeting in person every Saturday afternoon in the Thirsty Bear near Waterloo. In addition, we have a discord server where we have online gaming sessions on Wednesday evenings: Our events are free, friendly and open to everyone regardless of age, race, gender, sexuality, religious views or feelings about Jar Jar Binks being a good character ( Mildly nerdy Star Wars reference for you there). You don't have to bring anything and new nerds are very welcome if you don't know your Star Trek from your Star Wars fear not. Also if you want to help us keep the lights on, consider supporting us on patreon, at As an organisation we aim to maintain a fun, inclusive and safe environment for playing games with our group of peers. Overboard has created a code of conduct that indicate the behaviours we consider unacceptable and the potential consequences for the violation of this behaviour. Meetup for roleplayers in and around Berlin who are looking for a group, one-shot or nice meetings with fellow roleplayers. Of course not strictly limited to roleplaying events, if you want to host a board game or a movie night (even if there are more specific groups for that), etc. it's fine, too, as long as it involved fellow roleplayers (or similar geeks ;-). Feel free to ask for a re-posting of such events from other groups. People who want to organize (open for all) One-Shots, etc. are more than welcome to contact me to get Event-Organizer status, so you can enter and manage your events yourself.
The Prospect Park Board Gaming Club is a place to meet new people, drink good beer, and - of course - play board games. The Club is hosted by the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture at 269 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY. Note:: Event patrons are asked to make small donation to help fund events and support the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture. Digital Donation QR Code from 6:30 PM to midnight at 269 4th Ave. You will find a bookshelf full of board games and more that your fellow attendees have brought, and a table with refreshments (you can also bring your own to share). You can play any game that's out, and add your own to the mix if you brought some. Don't hesitate to invite anyone who looks lost or idle to join in your game! What board games will be there? You can expect modern board & card games like Catan, Werewolf, Secret Hitler and Ticket to Ride, and too many others to name. Rarely does our community skew to classics like chess, mahjong, rummy, Go, Scrabble or Monopoly, but if that's your jam then bring a copy. Do I haveeeee to donate? No. It is a donation but we will shake our heads and collectively say “for shame for shame" if you do not. To be totally serious, the suggested donation of $12 directly benefits the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture( and pays for the beer and other administrative costs of using the space. You will also be contributing to a potential shutdown, bankruptcy, zelda rooster attack and Cthulhu taking our souls if you do not donate. Do you want that on your conscience? #stopcthulhu OMG the meetup is full can I still come? Yes you can! We appreciate the RSVP because it helps us prepare the event. However, in the very very slim chance that we're over space c
If you love playing board games but the online experience at Board Game Arena, Yucata, and BrettspielWelt isn’t enough, then come out and join us at one of our many events. We are a group of avid board gamers, many of whom have an extensive library of games, who love to teach and play everything from the oldies (well, Settlers of Catan, not Nine Men's Morris) to the latest hits. In fact, if you have a game you want to learn, just say so in the event page and there will likely be someone willing to teach it There will be events all over the northern Queens area (from Long Island City to Bay Terrace to Kew Gardens) that will be chosen to be as accommodating as possible to both drivers and users of public transit. Bring your favorite games and share your passions, or just bring your enthusiasm and courtesy for your fellow players and the venues that we use. Let’s game our days and nights away!
Are you a queer woman (lesbian, bi, pan, ace, trans, or non-binary)\ who would like to embark on a new adventure with like-minded companions? Join this group and come along with us on a journey! It doesn't matter if you're a weathered veteran of dungeon crawling or a newbie ready for your first adventure; you are welcome here! \ Trans women are and will always remain welcome in this group. 👯♀️ About the group: We mostly organise meetups to play Dungeons and Dragons or other tabletop role-playing games. But who knows, we might occasionally have some board game nights as well—everything that's gaming and fun. (Shout out to Pete for letting us use his organiser privileges!) 📣 Are you a GM/DM? If you are a GM or DM and would be interested in running your own game, please message us (Athena or Tiffany)! We will run D&D 5e one-shots and campaigns, but we welcome GMs who run other TTRPGs as well! We can't wait to fight our first encounter alongside all of you! Tired of networking events that run late into the night and come with a drink minimum in DTLA? So are we. Welcome to Roll Call Referrals. We’ve created a networking experience that trades noisy bars for a cozy, board game–filled atmosphere where real connections come first. Let's find friends who truly get your hustle and want to help it grow. We believe in the power of shared stories—what inspired you, what keeps you going, and how we can support each other on the journey. The name Roll Call Referrals is a playful nod to Angelica’s past life as a preschool teacher, and a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit. Pull up a chair and share your own stories with us!
Salutare tuturor!
