Alamo 1836 is a solitaire wargame (but it can eventually be played by two), published in Vae Victis #97 (February 2011), about the key episode of the thirteen days siege of the fort. The A4 map is divided into areas. The game includes a sheet of 80 counters. Each texan counter represent 10 soldiers or 1 cannon. Each mexican counter represent 80 soldier or 1 cannon. there are also counters for each officer: Travis, Bowie, Crockett, Santa Anna, Cos, Duque, Romero, Juan Morales. The player is in charge of Texan defenders of Alamo, The rules manage the actions of the Mexican army. There is not a limited number of turns: the game ends when all the defender are eliminated. Victory is given by the number of Mexican conters eliminated.
