A mid-eighteenth century began in Spain one of the largest and most important engineering works of the period, both Spain and Europe. The dream of uniting the Castilian plain to the sea became a reality by 207 km, which passed into history as El Canal de Castilla /Channel of Castile. The channel served primarily for transport the grain produced in Castile to the port, many industries emerged, so developed a major industrial activity. Who will be the constructor of the main channels? Who will transports in their barges the largest number of goods or passengers? Who will owns most prosperous industries? ... Canal de Castilla is a game for 2-4 players. Players must build channels linking the villages, carrying goods and passengers through the canal. Before, they must get the necessary barges and even build flour mills. The game takes place since 1753 (start of work) until 1959 (end use). At this time, the player with the most points wins the game. The game is also educational as it wants to teach and explore this part of the history to the public. Sirvi principalmente para llevar el grano producido en Castilla hasta el puerto, muchas industrias surgieron a su alrededor desarroll ndose una importante actividad industrial, pero ser s tu qui n construya los principales canales, qui n transporte en sus barcazas el mayor n mero de mercanc as o viajeros, qui n posea las industrias m s pr speras?... Canal de Castilla es un juego para 2-4 jugadores. Los jugadores deben construir rutas que unan los pueblos transportando mercanc as y viajeros por el canal. Antes han debido conseguir las barcazas necesarias e incluso construir harineras. El juego se desarrolla desde 1753 (inicio de las obras) hasta 1959 (final de su utilizaci n). En este momento, el jugador que tenga m s puntos ganar la partida. El juego es tambi n did ctico ya que quiere ense ar y descubrir esta parte de la historia al p blico.
