From the designer: CONTEXT: Paris, 1626. The king s musketeers, who are carrying a very important message, arrive hasty to Palais Royal. Hooded silhouettes appear in their way. Are they Cardinal s guards, Milady de Winter s minions or swordsmen ? The message has to arrive save. Are they going to face each other, protect each other, stab each other, demonstrate their nobility, or their baseness in order to get this message. Wear your plume and Fight for your faction ! MECHANIC: You have to assign your dice between your hands. Players are going to simultaneously make a "posture", using their arms to threat a player or protect themselves, and revealing dice in each hand. Combats are resolved with simple dice rolls using a "press-your-luck" system with different options (secret moves, counter-attacks, protection of an ally, event cards...). One pair makes for a hit (touche), that can be parried. A combination of 3 dice becomes a "secret move", unique and unstoppable for each character. A "plume" die allows to control luck and take advantage over your opponents.
