In the card game of Seize the Realm, two or more players each take the role of a local baron in the chaos of medieval Japan. The Emperor is powerless, and the office of his sworn protector, the Shogun, is an empty shell. The realm is in turmoil as you and your rival lords struggle for control. Only one can seize the realm… will it be you? Cards have different powers depending on how they are played: strong one-shot abilities, or lasting effects while they stay in play.
