Description

Cabal is a two player asymmetric game. One player is the Escaper and the other is the Trapper. There is a main board which consists of a 9x9 grid of holes, and then each player has a board shaped to fit in the hand that represents the 8 spaces around the position of the Escaper's pawn on the main board. The Escaper simply plots where they want to move. The trapper has 3 colored pegs to put into his personal board. If the Escaper moves to the position of the green peg, the move occurs but the green peg is placed on the board (anywhere except next to the Escaper); to the yellow peg, there is no move and the yellow peg is put down where it was pegged; and to the red peg. the move is blocked and the red and yellow peg are put on the board where they were pegged. The game has 3 molded plastic boards and about 60 pegs in 4 colors. 3 sets of rules with slightly different forms of play are included.
