Description

The Improv Comedy Game is based on the TV show and actual comedy club, The Improv. It tests your ability to make your friends laugh through various actions and jokes. The game contains 4 booklets, one each of "Gags", "Improvs", Groans," and "Cracks", which are used for each player's turn. Players move around a board that is encased in the game box, using plastic pawns. One accumulates points by successfully getting the other players to laugh at the jokes one performs, and can lose points by landing on spaces such as "heckler funnier than you," "audience speaks no English," and "steal material". There is a pegboard in the center of the game board to keep track of each player's score; players move their pegs point by point from "beginner" to "star", and the first person to become a star is the winner of the game. The equipment included is listed in the rules as follows: "12 pawns, 4 hilarious comedy booklets, 3 colored dice, 1 timer, 1 game board/score board, 0 Mercedes convertibles
