The card bowling game is scored exactly as in the regular rules of bowling and playing technique is based on official bowling rules. Typical bowling score sheets are included. Ten "frames" are played. High score wins. Players are dealt a hand of five Bowlo cards. The deck consists of 54 cards: 18 Ball cards. 12 number 1 Pin cards. 12 number 2 Pin cards. 12 number 3 Pin cards. Any number of these five cards may be discarded and new cards called for to retain a total of five cards, which every player must hold in order to score. Should the original five cards held total 10 points a "strike" is called. After a second hand or a draw, should a 10 be scored, a "spare" is credited. An "error" is scored for any player who scores less than 10 "Pins" in two hands (or draws). A "bust" (zero points) is scored when a player has a hand totaling more than 10 "Pins."
