Description
Octagons is an abstract boardgame from the family of connection games. The rules as given in New Rules for Classic Games are: The game uses an Archimedean grid with halved octagons (resulting in irregular hexagons). Both players take turns making moves. On his turn, a player can either fill in one half of an octagon or two squares. The first move can be swapped by the pie rule. The player who forms an unbroken connection between the edges of his colour wins. Draws are not possible.
