Description

This latest evolution of the antique Battleship game (the French name would translate as "Infrared Battleship", I guess) seems to be available only in France, Belgium and French Canada so far --I've yet to see an English version. The two Battleship display boxes have been replaced by full-fledged computers with an infrared link. The game features sound effects, it talks, it recognizes vocal commands. (I'm not sure if it can be networked to play with more than two --too bad if it can't!) Besides the standard Battleship rules, it allows advanced twists like scouting planes and the like --all made possible by the electronic referee.
