Chameleons is played on a 7x7 square board. The board is occupied by Chameleons except the middle cell. Each player starts with 24 Chameleons on his color. A Chameleon may move to any adjacent empty cell. A Chameleon that remains on a different color for more than one round will change itself to match that color. The central cell is always considered to be the opposite color of the Chameleon that occupies it. A Chameleon captures by jumping over an enemy Chameleon. Multiple jumps are possible and capture of the initial piece is compulsory. A player may choose not to capture all the enemy pieces in a string and stop jumping at any time. The player that captures or converts all enemy Chameleons wins.
