Tiles are placed on the table (face-down). The meeples move onto those tiles to flip them over; sometimes there are animals shown on them. When this happens, the respective (wooden) animal is put onto the tile and the meeple has to drive it home (to the middle of the playing area). Different rules apply for driving different animals.
