Nix is a rummy-like game with a gimmick - there are no fixed sets of cards you are trying to get, but instead 18 different scoring rules (4 cards of the same color score 25 points, for example), of which 7 are chosen randomly in the first 7 rounds of each hand. The scoring rules are on large stackable plastic cubes, which makes them easy for everyone to see, but does bulk up the game quite a bit.
