Close Action is a realistic game system that recreates tactical naval combat during the wars of the French Revolution and Empire, better known as the Napoleonic era. Close Action is a simultaneous movement game. At the beginning of each game turn, all players plot their actions for that game turn on ship logs. The plots are then revealed and executed simultaneously. Includes: Rules Booklet, Scenario & Tournament Rules Booklet, Four cardstick sheets (blue, red, green, and yellow), 3 color glossy counter sheet, 2 blank ship log sheets, and a message form for multi player games. Not included but needed to play: a mapboard gridded into regular hexagons and two 6 sided dice
