Caesar's Game

An original game of pure strategy. Roman "coins" (representing wealth) move diagonally, whilst metal columns (representing empire) jump over coins, of either color, in order to form a square formation on four adjacent circles to be victorious. Rules are very simple; a double-sided A4 sheet provides ample explanation, but the strategy is deep, and developing the ability to assess the state of play at any given time requires considerable application in order to play the game well. A winning situation may be engineered very quickly from a seemingly hopeless one.
