Players battle their Pok mon by rolling dice to determine their moves' effects. In addition to customizable energy dice, the player's Pok mon is a die as well. Players take turns choosing a move from their movepool, then rolling their dice to see if they have the required energy for the move to succeed. Additional effects, positive or negative, are determined by which orientation their character die lands in. Effects may add bonus damage, affect future dice availability, and more. The player who reduces their opponent's Pok mon to 0 HP wins the battle.
