In Kami, the players take the roles of artist trying to get the best combinations of flowers and origami figures to get the maximum amount of points among all players. The game starts with one isolated tile in the middle of the board, players take turns to add tiles to the board, they must place them in specific places and orientation to make them match with the tiles already on the board while trying to maximize the amount of points they can obtain from them. Matching origami figures, using different flowers and creating chains of the same flower will award the players with points. The game ends when, at the end of a round, any player got the goal amount of points (sometimes 50 points, sometimes 30 points. After that the player with the most points win the game. If there is a tie, the tied players plays sudden death rounds until there is a winner. —description from the designer
