Description

Rails and Cargo is a solo roll-and-write game where it s just you, a pencil, and a map full of untapped potential. Your task may sound simple - restore broken rail lines between cities, build factories, produce goods, and deliver them where they re needed most. But this is not an easy ride. This is a think-and-write experience: no luck, no dice-driven chaos - dice will be rolled only during setup. Every decision is entirely in your hands. You re racing against time, with a limited number of turns to plan, optimize, and execute your strategy. Each action you take and its result is your choice, not chance. Only the most efficient planners will meet the delivery goals and earn victory. With Rails and Cargo you ll get three Control Panel sheets in varying levels of challenge - pick the one that suits your journey. Plus, you ll receive three unique map sheets to explore: Poland - Start your engines in Warsaw, then stretch your railways across vast plains to reach cities like Krak w, Gdańsk, and Wrocław. Long distances and wide-open spaces make efficiency the key—can you keep your cargo moving while covering so much ground? Spain - From the bustling heart of Madrid, your trains must climb over rugged mountains and descend toward vibrant coasts. Deliver goods to Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville, balancing tricky routes with limited space. Every track drawn feels like a puzzle piece in this sunny but demanding network. Germany - A dense web of cities radiates out from Berlin, with major stops like Munich, Hamburg, and Frankfurt waiting for your cargo. Shorter routes mean more connections, but also more competition for space - this map rewards sharp planning and clever timing to keep industries supplied. No dice, no luck - just pure strategy as you sketch out the most efficient rail lines to deliver goods across Europe! —description from the publisher
