The crowd roars as the horses speed down the homestretch neck to neck fighting for position along the rail in an exciting display of premiere high speed horse racing. This game captures the exciting outcomes from the main track sections along a linear track, front stretch, clubhouse turn, backstretch, far turn, homestretch, and the finish. The game does not use normal space movement as the outcomes will place them into the next section of track according to a horses result per a modified die roll from the horse/jockey s card. The track also has modifiers along the top of the track which are add/subtracted from the die roll and those modifiers will be different throughout the length of the track depending on the space they are on. Although the board track is visually dirt they will also be racing on turf and synthetic under dry, wet, or mud conditions. A heat race consists of six races with nine horses of varying characteristics entered into the competition. Odds on each horse are pre-determined before each race, bets placed by the player/s. A race lasts six turns and a turn may incur one or more events along the way to the finish, and there is a good possibility of photo finishes which involves photo finish reviewing resulting with a horse winning by a nose, short head, or long head.
