Ronin s Revenge is a cooperative dark Oriental fantasy boss battler, designed to bring the brutal tension of a souls-like experience to the tabletop. Combat is the heart of the experience: each confrontation pits the heroes against merciless bosses in battles where stamina management, positioning, timing, and reading the enemy matter far more than pure luck. Your choices shape the pressure of the fight, turning every action into a calculated risk — attacking at the wrong moment can open you up to a devastating counter, while precision, perfectly timed defense, and well-prepared counterattacks can completely turn the tide of the battle. But Ronin s Revenge is more than just memorable battles. In an epic, non-linear campaign full of consequences, the group must vote on which path to take as each hero pursues their own objectives, loyalties, and personal interests. This opens the door to political intrigue between the characters, since not everyone wants the same outcome and personal endings depend on the truths the group uncovers along the way (EVEN SOLO). Yet no matter how intense these internal tensions become, everyone must stay united in combat — because the threat rising before them is far worse than any conflict among allies, and letting this evil prevail would come at a terrible price for all. With solo and cooperative modes for 1 to 4 players, campaign progression, character advancement, and deep customization through items and powers, Ronin s Revenge combines reactive storytelling with demanding combat that rewards learning, discipline, and mastery of the battle s rhythm.
