The board shows a track with 26 spaces, each showing a letter of the alphabet. Deal each player 7 cards. Each will show a category (e.g. color, farm animal, rock star). Set the timer/pointer to 30/20/10 seconds depending on desired difficulty level. To start, flip the top card of the deck. The first person to names something in that category moves the timer/pointer to the space showing the last letter of the item named. This automatically starts the timer. Players now take turns playing a card and naming an item in that category that starts with the letter the timer is on. If they name an item, they discard the card and move the timer to the last letter of the item named, which restarts the timer. If they fail to name an item, they draw a penalty card then pick the timer up and put it back down on the same letter to restart it. The first player to get rid of all of his cards wins.
