Lithic

Lithic is a 2–4 player abstract strategy game where players take turns placing stones on 1 of the 36 intersections of the board, competing to form the largest connected group. Each placement is critical as it expands your territory and strengthens your network, but every move also shapes the possibilities for everyone else. Instead of placing a stone, you may set one aside to perform a powerful tactical swap: exchange one of your stones with an adjacent connecting stone and anchor them in place by flipping them over, preventing further swaps. This creates permanent structures that can secure key connections, disrupt opponents, or lock in scoring advantages. When all stones have been played or set aside, the player with the largest connected group wins, with ties broken by comparing next-largest groups until a winner emerges — or the game ends in a hard-fought draw. —description from the publisher
