This is a draft-and-civilization-rise-and-fall card game where players control seven nations and vie for supremacy across five eras. The goal of the game is to win as many of the 10 naval and land battles laid out in the center as possible to collect points from the supremacy cards! So how do you compete for them? You ll form teams using the game s main feature—civilization cards—and battle it out! Players select cards from their hand using a booster draft-style system to build a collection of 7 civilizations. Once the draft is over, the battle begins! Well, all you do is place one card face-down for each era and then reveal them (except for the first era, where you place three face-down). Each civilization has naval and land power, and the player with the highest total value across their three cards claims naval and land supremacy for that era. However... Civilizations have two ways to boost their power! Card Effects: Civilizations come with various abilities, and some can dramatically boost your land power by meeting certain conditions or matching icons. Regional Bonuses: Since this is a war, locals naturally have the advantage. Every time a battlefield matches one of the five regional tags— Nordic, Europe, Mediterranean, Middle East, or Asia —your combat strength increases further. Some civilizations even span three regions as global empires...! Think strategically about combining abilities, focus your power on either sea or land, and seize supremacy!
