Description

The task: Line up four beads. The problem: The rules prevent you from placing the beads where you d most like to. The upside: Your opponent faces the same problem. The trick: You both have to make sure the board … keeps moving! The objective of the game is nearly the same as in the classic GoBang (Five-in-a-Row). Both players take turns placing a bead on a relatively small tilting board. A move is only considered valid if the board subsequently switches the edge it is resting on. If the board does not switch the edge it is resting on, the opponent gets a double turn. Unlike classic GoBang, the placement rule in Goba makes it difficult to simply extend your own rows. Such an extension is only possible with tactically skillful preparation. —description from the designer
