SWAT: First Response is a solo theme-heavy reprogrammable card tactics management puzzle game, with memory elements. Move around a 10 room criminal hideout, using tactics cards that are revealed each turn to 'MOVE', 'PEEK', 'SEARCH' or 'SHOOT'. Every turn, the player reveals the left most facedown tactics card. After the first round, the player now has the ability to reorganise the cards to meet an ever changing strategy. This play continues until three different strength criminals have been taken down and two hostages have been found and rescued. The player needs to make sure they have the right amount of movement, to do the right action at the right time.
