Amicitia is a finite territory game for two players: Black and White. It is played on the intersections (points) of an odd-sized, initially empty square grid (board). Players have access to a sufficient supply of pieces of two types (disks and tiles) and two colors (black and white). A group is a piece along with all identical pieces one can reach from it through a series of steps onto orthogonally adjacent, identical pieces. A group is bounded if there are no empty points orthogonally adjacent to it. On your turn, place a disk or tile of your color on an empty point or replace a bounded enemy group with a friendly one of the same type, provided that the majority of pieces of the other type orthogonally adjacent to it are of your color. Passing is not allowed, but, if you have no legal moves available, your turn is skipped. When neither player can move, whoever has more pieces on the board wins. To make the game fair, White will have the option, on their first turn only, to swap sides with Black instead of making a regular move. -description from designer
