Description

Whacktown throws you into a neon-soaked city of scheming gangs and fast, punchy chaos. Build your criminal gang, seize control of locations across a randomly generated city grid, and settle scores with baseball bats, Hustle-cards, and brutal timing. The game leans into darkly comic gangster vibes — think chaotic, short rounds filled with memorable, often absurd stories. Play moves fast and is easy to pick up: each round you Move (walk your gang and trigger the target location s effect), Hustle (play as many Hustle cards as you like, but each one costs you other cards from your hand), then Chill (draw cards and pass the turn). Locations are access-controlled — some require money, information, reputation or health to enter — so positioning and timing matter. Damage effects usually hit *all* your rivals, armor acts as extra hit points that can be damaged and later repaired, and sudden reversals are common: if you slack off, someone might literally drop a bomb in your living room. The core mechanics emphasize access control, hand-management tradeoffs, and explosive every-player-for-themselves confrontations. You win by becoming the most feared boss in Whacktown: either eliminate every other player or be the first to hit 10 Reputation. If you like quick, confrontational filler games with tactical depth, player interaction, and a heavy dose of gangster humor (and you don t mind getting whacked a few times), Whacktown is the perfect late-night brawl.
