It's (Almost) as if You are Playing a Board Game (IAAIYAPABG - "I-Yap-a-Bag") is a game about playing board games for 1 or more players. There are two levels to the game - first the gameplay itself, where players take turn making actions that affect the game state, following instructions on cards and managing an abstract central board featuring maps and spaces for tokens. And secondly, through the performance of playing a board game for spectators both real and imagined. The game offers opportunity for players to control how their play appears to passersby, to make it appear more complex and thinky, or more light and humorous. The winner of the game can either be individual, or collective based on the combinations of card plays and resource collection. IAAIYAPABG has a limited run of hand made physical copies, but can be printed and played at home with suitable materials (board, cubes, dice and tokens), following a freely available guide. —description from the designer
