Enter a world of dial-up internet, shadowy rooms, and government secrets. Welcome to Six Eyes, an organization that doesn t officially exist. It s 1997 and you ve been recruited to investigate the impossible: strange vanishings, ticking bombs, and classified conspiracies. In this narrative-driven roll-and-write game, every choice matters. Will you spend your turn rushing to a crime scene, grilling a witness, or hacking into classified records? You ll need to balance luck and deduction to seek out the essential clues, avoid red herrings, and crack the case before time runs out! Each turn, you ll roll three 6-sided dice, choosing two to keep and use in various ways on your game sheet – will you drive or fly to the next point of interest? Will you use your dice to get a ballistics report, or question a key witness? As your progress, you ll read short story passages that ll reveal the case before you – or send you off on wild goose chases. Gather the right clues to help you fill in your report at the end by completing some multiple-choice sentences based on what you ve learned about the case. You won t always have definitive black-and-white answers, but if you ve spent your time investigating smartly, you should have enough information to fill in the blanks. Then you can get back to figuring out exactly what this shadowy agency you work for actually is… – Balances luck, strategy and deduction – Combines roll-and-write with choose-your-own-path – Each case is different, introducing different gameplay mechanics and scenarios – from mysterious disappearances to wild conspiracies to ticking time bombs! Season 1 comes with 5 cases for you to play. After you finish a case you can either play it again more efficiently with the knowledge you now have (and try and beat your high score), or move onto the next case. -description from designer
