Grim Jumpers is a high-octane, solo or cooperative tactical miniatures game where elite soldiers —the Jumpers— are dropped into hostile zones to fend off relentless waves of Artificial Enemies (AE). Designed for 1–4 players, this system prioritizes fast-paced action, cinematic survival, and tactical synergy. Whether you are performing a daring civilian rescue or a desperate last stand, every decision counts. The Tactical Edge Scalable Mission Profiles: From solo 2'x2' skirmishes to 4-player 4'x4' battlefields, the game scales its difficulty and round limits dynamically to match your squad size. Cinematic Combat: Manage your Kinetic Shields to soak up damage, but stay clear of the enemy to let them recharge. Once your shields are down, every hit counts against your limited Health. Class-Based Synergy: Choose from four distinct classes: Vanguard: The versatile front-liner with stim-injectors. Heavy: The armored wall with devastating fire-support. Marksman: The long-range specialist with high-precision optics. Breacher: The CQC expert designed to shatter enemy lines. The Artificial Enemy (AE) The AE system is designed for automated play, requiring no "human" opponent. Using a standard deck of playing cards (including Jokers), the Orbital Insertion phase dictates reinforcements. Dynamic Spawning: AE units enter the battlefield in a cycling pattern, keeping you on the move. Escalating Threat: As the rounds progress, the deck throws more at you—from swarms of Grunts to tank-like Heavies and game-changing Global Events like Solar Flares or Orbital Jamming.
