First part of the game is that its a turned based two player card game where you customize your deck like Magic: the Gathering. you build a base with your cards placing down economic and production buildings. you create units from the production buildings and send them to conquer three relic sites. first player to conquer all three sites wins the game. there is more to it like spells and building upgrades. Second part of the game are the battles which are a game in itself using the "Chaotic Combat System" Units have individual stats and you use dice to determine battles like Warhammer 40k. There are five factions - Humans, Goblins, Dwarves, Elves, and Undead. Each faction has unique units. Game is replayable and no two games are the same due to the variety of base configurations, unit combos, spells and movement strategy like risk. I'm thinking a game like chess that has stood the test of time, so wont get boring. —description from the designer
