Description

Squad Cards is a team-based party game for 4 or more players that evolves the traditional "Fishbowl" experience. Designed for ages 17 and up due to its suggestive content, the game challenges two teams to communicate phrases through three increasingly difficult rounds using a shared, player-curated pool of cards. The game begins with a unique preparation phase where each player is dealt a set number of cards from the deck. Players review these cards—familiarizing themselves with a portion of the total phrases that will be used throughout the game—before all selected cards are shuffled together into a single "Squad" draw pile. This creates a closed loop of information where every word or phrase in play has been seen by at least one person at the table. The game is played over three distinct rounds: verbal description, one word, and charades. In each round, teams alternate turns. On a player's turn, they have one minute to get their teammates to guess as many cards as possible from the draw pile. When the draw pile is exhausted, the round ends. All cards are then collected and reshuffled to form the draw pile for the next round. Each card correctly guessed earns the team one point. The game concludes immediately after the draw pile is exhausted for the third and final time. The team with the highest cumulative score across all three rounds is declared the winner.
