Description

Arkontia is a medium-sized Euro game. Strategy and resource management game. The board shows a world divided into regions with natural resources that are connected to each other. Players choose a capital city from among their territories and, at the beginning of the turn, obtain the resources from the territories connected to the capital. They then use these natural resources to develop their empire or expand their army, enabling them to conquer other territories by rolling dice. The OBJECTIVE is to obtain 10 victory points, which are earned by achieving different milestones that are dynamically added or subtracted from the player who obtains them. The ways to earn points are: conquering continents, developing cities, obtaining the longest trade route, obtaining the longest sea route, the largest army, and the greatest number of strategic enclaves. Resource trading is done with the other players and the bank, and it is important not only to control your strategic depth but also to negotiate. There are three phases in each turn: First, we obtain the resources for the turn and decide how to use them (buying cards, ports, cities, or armies). Second, we attack with our armies to conquer nearby territories (by rolling dice). Third, we mobilize troops to advance our strategy or protect remote territories. En el tablero se presenta un mundo divido en regiones con recursos naturales y conectados entre si. Los jugadores eligen una capital entre sus territorios y obtienen al inicio del turno, los recursos de los territorios conectados a la capital. Posteriormente emplean esos recursos naturales para desarrollar su imperio o ampliar su ej rcito, pudiendo con ellos conquistar otros territorios mediante lanzamiento de dados. El OBJETIVO es conseguir 10 puntos de victoria que obtendremos consiguiendo diferentes hitos que de manera din mica se van sumando o restando al jugador que los obtenga. Las formas de obtener puntos son: conquistando continentes, desarrollando ciudades, obteniendo la ruta comercial m s larga, obteniendo la ruta mar tima m s larga, el mayor ej rcito y el mayor n mero de enclaves estrat gico. El comercio de recursos se hace con el resto de jugadores y con la banca siendo importante, no solo controlar su profundidad estrat gica si no tambi n la negociaci n. En el turno tendr amos tres fases: Primero obtenemos los recursos del turno, y decidimos como emplearlos (comprando cartas, puertos, ciudades o ej rcitos) Segundo atacamos con nuestros ej rcitos para conquistar territorios cercanos (mediante tirada de dados) Tercero, movilizaci n de tropas para avanzar nuestra estrategia o proteger territorios remotos.
