Konspira is a fast-paced game where you work together… but not with everyone. Taking on the roles of opposition activists, players work together to carry out secret missions for underground anti-communist organizations of the 1980s. Beware! Amongst you are the traitors: Unofficial collaborators of the Polish People's Republic Security Service (SB). While the oppositionists gather the resources necessary to complete their missions, the collaborators strive to sabotage their efforts keeping their true identity in secret. Will the oppositionists manage to avoid being caught? At the start of the game, each player draws a card with a secret identity — either an oppositionist or a SB collaborator — which remains secret until the end of the game. The other players don't know the identity of fellow players. During the game three rounds the opposition members attempts to collect the resources required to complete the mission. In the same time the collaborators work to undermine these efforts while carefully concealing their identity. If the mission succeeds, the opposition wins. If it fails, the collaborators claim victory. The game rulebook contains an introduction to the activities of the anti-communist opposition in 1980s Poland, highlighting the ruthless tactics used by the State Security Service against those fighting for Poland s independence and sovereignty.
