This game is packaged as a single deck of cards, with the rules for two games: Betwixt Two Tricks and Work, Life Balance. The deck of cards is a somewhat standard deck of 52 cards, with A-K in four suits. However, each corner of a card shows only the suit or the rank, and not both. Betwixt Two Tricks is a trick-taking for 3 or 4 players where each person will play 2 cards to the tricks. The first person to play to a trick plays a card in front of the person on their left, setting the rank of that player's card. That player then plays a card in front of themselves, setting the suit of their card, and a card in front of the person to their left, setting that player's rank. The goal is to balance the tricks won by the players on your left and right. Work, Life, Balance is a trick-taking game for 2 players where players also play 2 cards to each trick, one for the rank and one for the suit. During setup, a random rank and suit are determined to be worth points for the hand. Each hand consists of 4 tricks, and by rule, at the end of the hand, each player must possess 2 tricks, so there is a redistribution process. The person with the most points after 2 hands wins.
