Life is full of unavoidable edges or perhaps shame. In this clever card game, every move brings a new decision: will you take the edge and risk drawing more cards, or play it safe and wait for a better moment? As players build and break the shared sequence of cards, timing and psychology intertwine. Beneath its simple rules lies a tense and witty battle of nerve, planning, and just a bit of luck. Haji no Ōi Shōgai o Okutte Kimashita (I Have Lived a Life Full of Shame) is a hand management and climbing-style card game for multiple players using a deck of 32 cards numbered 1–32 in eight colors. Players compete to empty their hands by playing cards sequentially into a shared row. Cards must be placed in numerical order, and if a card cannot be placed at an edge, the player must edge out taking cards from the table so their card becomes an edge. Collected cards return to the player s hand, potentially delaying their victory. However, forming sequences or color sets of three or more cards allows players to lay them down for points. The round ends when a player empties their hand, and scoring balances positive points for laid sets against penalties for leftover cards.
