In Wilds, players build an ecosystem map using tiles and introduce various animals onto it. The animals are used to play out a game of predator and prey and to control valuable regions. On your turn, you'll add a tile to the map, introduce an animal onto it, then activate any other animals you already have in play. Each animal has a unique set of actions, abilities and terrain they can move through. Points are earned throughout the game as prey forage and predators hunt rival pieces. The game end is triggered when all tiles have been played. A final friendly round is played where pieces cannot be removed. Bonus points are earned for having the most animals in a given region. A different set of animals can be used in every game. Specific sets can be chosen to increase or decrease the level of player interaction and conflict. —description from the publisher
