In OM: The Journey, 2–4 travelers cross India in search of both memorable experiences and inner peace. From mistey valleys and palace cities to sacred monasteries and temples, players trace their own path across a map of India that celebrates its culture, landscapes, and spiritual heritage. The game is designed to be welcoming to families and newer players, while offering enough planning and timing decisions to keep hobby gamers engaged. On your turn, you ll choose how to invest your limited time and energy. Travel cards let you move by road, rail, or air between regions, collecting four types of Energy Cubes that represent wealth, action, knowledge, and devotion. These energies are then spent to gain Outer Journey cards – destinations and worldly experiences – and Inner Journey cards – sacred sites and moments of reflection. Each card advances you along separate Outer and Inner score tracks, and your character s unique ability nudges you toward a different style of play. A shared Event deck introduces changing conditions each round: monsoons might slow certain routes, festivals might reward specific regions, and special opportunities might favor particular characters or vehicles. Visiting OM shrine spaces earns powerful OM Tokens and advances you along the OM Turn Track, a dynamic turn-order system that rewards players who time their journeys well. The game ends once a traveler s combined Outer and Inner Journey scores exceed 100 points, triggering a final round. When everyone has finished the same number of turns, the player who has best balanced their outer adventure with their inner progress—reflected in score and position on the OM Turn Track—wins the game. -description from designer
