In Dodeka, each player represents a mortal champion, competing in a sacred contest to ascend to Olympus. Players collect sets of god cards in front of them. The player with the most cards of a particular god unlocks that god's unique power and can use this power to influence the game in different ways. God powers can be combined to create powerful - although short-term - effects. However, by not using the power, players may instead gain lasting favor. Favor wins you the game, but not using god powers gives your rivals more opportunities.
