Snaky: The Pachanga of Snakes & Ladders VIP reimagines the world-famous race game through the Universo Pachanga VIP (UPV) framework, transforming a simple roll-and-move into an emotional, chaotic, and ultra-social experience. The game preserves the familiar race toward the final space using snakes and ladders, but introduces two complementary layers of play: LAYER 0 — The Pachanga (UPV Core Layer) Before moving, each player must choose between: A) PAY 1 TOKEN Play in Classic Mode : no twists, no surprises — just roll and move. B) ROLL THE BLUE DIE This triggers UPV VIP effects, which may include: Helpful boosts Temporary restrictions Social interactions Player-to-player challenges Or triggering the Red Die, which introduces global chaos twists affecting everyone on the board Important: The exact faces of the Blue Die, Red Die, and the possible effects are not listed here. Why? Because the UPV is a flexible framework, allowing each edition to include seasonal variants, themed dice, difficulty modes, or collectible expansions. Publishers may adapt the effects to their own product line. LAYER 1 — Classic Snakes & Ladders Reinvented After resolving Layer 0, the player rolls the movement die and advances normally. But the board now includes optional elements such as: VIP Ladders Chaotic Snakes Bonus zones Multi-path branches Themed boards (future variants) This keeps the original simplicity but adds emotional depth and unpredictability. OPTIONAL: VSD Cards (Variable Scoring Deck) Some editions may include a small deck of VSD cards that players draw at the start of their turn to gain or lose VIP points depending on how well they complete a challenge. This system allows: Alternative victory conditions Cooperative or competitive modes Seasonal/expansion decks Infinite replayability Why Snaky Works Snaky keeps everything people love about Snakes & Ladders — simple rules, pure race, family fun — but injects: Emotion Chaos Social interaction Micro-strategy Replayability Infinite variant potential through the UPV framework It becomes a game that kids can play instantly, but that adults find surprisingly exciting thanks to Layer 0. —description from the designer
