Description

Tiny Robot is a card based tabletop game for 2-4 players. Uniquely, we think, a production line/ game board is created at random at the start of every game, by shuffling and laying one card from the pack face up and four cards face down in a line, in the centre of the table, with a winner card placed at the end. Players must complete sets in order to travel along the production line, whilst collecting and building robots along the way. To win the game players must reach the winner card at the end of the production line, and have collected the most robot cards along the way. The pack is made up of factory cards and action cards. Factory cards, including robot cards, are not only used to build sets and aid your progression along the production line, but can also be used to build robots utilising various components. The action cards are used to aid your progression and hinder your opponents. examples of action cards include pinching robots, swapping cards, extra cards, jumping opponents, extending the production line, moving yourself and opponents backwards and forwards etc. The games success comes from the autonomy each player has with the cards they are dealt, and the fact every game is different because of the way the production line/ board is laid out. It is portable, packing neatly into a durable little box no bigger than a bar of soap. Very easy to learn and very addictive. Players can play the game in their own style, be it combative, collaborative or just head down minding their own business. The game is both strategic and tactical and above all really good fun. —description from the designer
