Welcome to a social experiment in trust and temptation. The group has been awarded one million dollars to share equally—if everyone can agree to do so. But in the center of the table lies the button, daring any player to press it and claim the entire fortune for themselves. Each round, players secretly decide whether to trust or doubt the group s intentions. If all players trust and no one presses the button, the remaining pot is divided evenly among everyone. But if all players trust and someone presses, that player claims the entire pot for themselves. For added tension and variety, optional Condition cards can be introduced, altering the rules, stakes, or flow of trust within the group. Simple to learn but psychologically complex, Don t Push the Button tests loyalty, greed, and the fragility of collective trust. How far will you go for a share of the million—and can you resist the temptation to take it all? —description from the designer
