"My first Black Power" is a puzzle game from Brazil for ages 6 and up. Each player takes a challenge board which depicts an Afro hairstyle with a hex grid and tries to fill this with polyominoes as quickly as possible. A player who is done shouts "Black Power" and picks a reward card from a selection on the table. To score at the end of the game, you will collect symbols on the reward cards. Different symbol combinations yield different points, so the earlier you get to pick a cards, the more likely it is that you can get a card that increases your score. When all cards have been played through, the game ends and the player with most points wins. Some variants are included, as is information on people and phenomena depicted on cards, all pertaining to Black history or culture.
