Description

Eight days in June 1866. Eight days in the midst of the Seven Weeks War. Eight decisive days between the centuries-old Habsburg Empire and its Prussian rival for domination of the Germanic world. Eight days that would forever change the face of Europe. Able to approach this campaign from a central position, in true Napoleonic style, facing Prussian armies unable to rescue themselves, the Austrian army and its commander-in-chief, Benedek, were unable to create the momentum necessary to successfully exploit such a situation. The Bouton de Gu tre Series, heir to the Marshals Series, and VaeVictis challenge you, in this fourth game, to perform this maneuver that Napoleon loved so much and to defeat, one by one, the Prussian armies emerging from the Sudetenland. Will the course of history change? Units: 1 PF = 2,000 infantry, 1,000 cavalry, 1 artillery battery Scale: approximately 10 km between two zones Turn: 1 day Complexity: 7/10 Duration: between 4 and 5 hours
