Me lo quitan de las manos is a dynamic card game set in the bustling world of street markets. Each player takes on the role of a merchant family —Salazar, Heredia, Montoya, Cort s, or Reyes— each with unique abilities, competing to become the most successful vendor in the market. The goal is simple but full of tension: sell your goods quickly —clothing, food, accessories, and more— before they lose value or get caught up in the chaos of the market. But beware! The marketplace is full of obstacles —new shipments arrive, customers demand discounts, the police may shut you down if you lack a license, and rival families will do anything to steal your sales. SETUP Shuffle the Family cards and deal one randomly to each player (one cannot choose the family they re born into). Reveal them immediately and give each player the Motorbike card that matches their family. Next, shuffle the remaining cards and deal 5 cards to each player. Place the draw pile face down in the center of the table, within reach of everyone. Take the top 3 cards from the draw pile and place them face up beside it, forming 3 separate discard piles (representing market stall piles ). The starting player is the one who tends to shout the most. GAME OBJECTIVE Each player must form and sell sets of cards to earn as many euros ( ) as possible before either the main deck runs out or a player completes five sets. GAMEPLAY On their turn, each player follows these steps: 1. DRAW PHASE (START OF TURN) The active player must choose one of these two options: Draw two cards from the main deck, then discard one of them onto any of the 3 discard piles. OR Exchange the top card from one of the 3 discard piles for one card from their hand, placing the discarded card on any discard pile. A player s hand limit is 7 cards. If a player already has 7 cards before drawing, they must exchange with the discard piles instead. 2. ACTION PHASE The player may perform one of the following actions (not both in the same turn): Sell a Set (2–5 cards): Place a set in your play area following these rules: Clothing: All cards must be of the same type (e.g. all T-shirts) or the four different garments (Socks, Thong, Underpants, and T-shirt). Food: Either all of the same type (e.g. four Garlics) or three different foods (Watermelon + Peach + Garlic). You cannot add new cards to an already created set. If another player already has a set of the same type, apply penalties (see Set Creation System ). Play an Effect Card: You may play a License, Cousin, Police, or Van card. Its effect is resolved immediately. 3. END OF TURN After completing the Action Phase (2), the active player passes the turn to the player on their left. If the player couldn t or didn t wish to perform an action, their turn ends after the Draw Phase (1). END OF THE GAME The game ends when: The main draw pile runs out, or A player completes five sets. Each player adds up the euros ( ) from their sets and applies any effects from special cards. The player with the most wins the game. SET CREATION SYSTEM Sets are made of cards of the same type: 2-card set: Sum of the base values (number in top-left corner). 3-card set: Base value + 1 bonus. 4-card set: Base value + 3 bonus. 5-card set: Base value + 6 bonus. Example: A 3-card T-shirt set (base value 5 each): 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 Bonus for 3 cards: +1 16 If there s already another T-shirt set in play: –2 per card penalty (Place one Discount card on top of the penalized set). 16 – (2 3) = 10 If there are already two T-shirt sets in play: –4 per card penalty (Place two Discount cards on the penalized set). 16 – (4 3) = 4 If a set s total score is negative, it counts as 0 . CARD DESCRIPTIONS FAMILY CARDS Each player belongs to a unique merchant family with a special ability: The Reyes: When exchanging with the discard piles, they may take 2 cards instead of 1 (and return 2 instead of 1). The Salazars: When placing a set, they may discard on
