Red Leaf University is a 1–4 player worker placement game where you ll recruit a team of bright young students and send them to specialized campuses to expand their knowledge, earn academic credits, and chase the ultimate honor: becoming Valedictorian! Red Leaf delivers a streamlined euro-style experience: with your students, you ll explore a university divided into six specialized campuses (Art, Business, Science, Architecture, etc.). Each campus allows players to recruit or upgrade a student of its discipline or engage in a unique minigame tied to its specialty. The core gameplay revolves around sending one of your student tokens to an action space on the campus boards. Turns proceed clockwise until all students have been placed. Placing a student on an already occupied space costs more ressources for each student already present. Students can be trained to Levels 1, 2, 3, or Master: higher levels unlock stronger actions and bonuses, and Master cards provide unique effect along with the ability to be placed on occupied spaces without paying. The game takes place over five rounds, each introducing new opportunities and challenges. By optimizing the combos between your students effects, the benefits from each minigame (some using a tile-placement mechanism), and the various end-of-round and end-game objectives, you ll score the most promotion points and become the valedictorian!
