It s the futuristic Victorian era & the age of steam & robotics has arrived. You are Junk-Smiths who have challenged each other to a Automaton making contest. Your task is to weld together the finest Bone Machine the bone yard has ever seen. Scour the bone yard for junk parts (chassis, head units, vision systems, the usual), chain them together with gears, and claim the successfully repurposed parts with tokens. But beware: your rivals may damage your recycling efforts with malfunctions or corrosion, reducing your masterpiece to scrap. Deploy repairs to rectify their sabotage or eliminate the parts & tally the subsequent loss of days on the Time Track. When the fifth day has been lost, the game ends & the Junk-Smith with the most successfully repurposed parts wins. —description from the designer
