The Studio: The Card Game is a light, fast-paced game for 2–4 players that drops you into the world of hip hop as an up-and-coming rapper. Your goal is simple: build projects, release them at the right time, and climb the charts to prove you re the greatest of all time. Each year (round) is divided into four quarters. On your turn, draw verse, hook, and beat cards to fulfill project requirements. Alternatively, play industry cards to push your release higher or sabotage your rivals. When you ve assembled the right mix, you can drop your project and watch it rise (or fall) on the charts. At the end of the year, points are awarded based on how all the projects rank, with event cards adding surprise bonuses and setbacks to keep the game unpredictable. The game ends when one player reaches 10 points, but getting there means balancing timing, card play, and a little bit of luck.
