Description

In 1796 (or was it 1679?), the Parliament of Roundland was founded... The only problem is that no one there really knew what a parliament was. In any case, our parliamentarians are trying their best — discussing deep issues and attempting to define how things should really be. But what they truly care about is whether, in the end, they seem more right than their colleagues. Parlamento is a trick-taking game where, over the course of the round, players vote on the true value of cards like 1/7 and 6/9 using the cards they play. Tricks with an undefined outcome are put on hold. During the round, you bet how many tricks you think you'll take, and at the end of the round, the pending tricks determine the vote — and the results are revealed. Cards change value to match the majority vote, potentially flipping the outcome of previously played tricks. In the middle of all this chaos… will you manage to get your bid right? —description from the publisher
